Tax Dollars Response

"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."

Tax dollars should be used to give students the education they want and need. With that being said, tax dollars should be used on art, music, and theatre but it should also be used on teaching students how to enter the workforce. Teachers teach students how to balance a chemical equation and find each angle in a triangle but they don't teach kids how to make a resume, fill out an application, or do taxes.

Although students need to learn how to enter the workforce they still need to do something they love, so putting money into art, music and theatre isn't a bad thing. Students need to be able to do something they lie in school otherwise they will get bored and not want to do anything.
